All-Filipino Roster of Team Nemesis Enters Dota 2 Esports

Team Nemesis, the rising force in global esports, has officially entered the Dota 2 competitive scene, unveiling an all-Filipino roster set to make its debut at DreamLeague Season 26. This marks a major step in the organization’s mission to nurture world-class talent and establish a formidable presence in the world of Dota 2.

Rising from the Ashes: Team Nemesis Takes on a New Game
Founded by former staff members of the British esports organization Into The Breach (ITB Esports), Nemesis was built on a foundation of integrity, transparency, and a relentless passion for esports.

Since its inception, Team Nemesis has made its mark across Halo, Trackmania, and Rainbow Six Siege, steadily building its reputation in competitive gaming. Now, the organization sets its sights on Dota 2 — a title that holds deep significance to its founders. This new chapter signifies more than just expansion; it’s a pursuit to build a legacy in a game they hold close to heart.

“We grew up [playing] Dota 2, and it’s one of the games that shaped our love for esports. It gave us some of the most unforgettable moments in gaming history. Now, we want to create those moments ourselves. And we believe there’s no better place to begin that journey than in the Philippines.” said Team Nemesis CEO Chris Evans

Building a Team That Embodies Filipino Greatness
When assembling their Dota 2 roster, Team Nemesis set their sights on the Philippines, recognizing the region as a goldmine of raw talent and home of the best esports fans in the world. The organization believes that, with the right platform and support, Filipino players have what it takes to conquer the global stage.

“The Philippines has some of the most gifted Dota 2 players in the world — they just need the right platform and a team that truly believes in their potential. We’re here to be that team. Our goal is to nurture their talent, amplify their strengths, and help them conquer the global stage.” said Team Nemesis COO Sebastian Lubczyk

The newly formed roster features a mix of decorated veterans and rising stars:

  • Philip Joshua Torres – Karma (Hard Carry): Formerly from Polaris Esports, Karma brings deadly precision and calm under pressure. Known for clutch late-game performances, he’s hungry to prove his dominance once again.
  • Red Laurence Roa – Magg!e (Mid): The team’s wildcard, Magg!e made his name in amateur circuits under Bulok Gaming. His aggressive and unpredictable playstyle makes him a thrilling centerpiece in the midlane.
  • Marc Polo Fausto – Raven (Offlane): A Southeast Asian legend, Raven is a former TI veteran with stints in Fnatic and Blacklist Rivalry. After years as one of SEA’s top carry players, he now seeks redemption in a new role as an offlaner.
  • John Rey Duyan – Jing (Soft Support): Hailing from Mindanao, Jing is one of the region’s brightest young support talents with international LAN experience under his belt. With sharp map awareness and clutch saves, he’s the team’s backbone.
  • James Erice Guerra – Erice (Hard Support): A battle-tested veteran, Erice brings vast professional experience and leadership from his time with various Tier 1 teams. His vision and game sense will be crucial in orchestrating team fights.
  • Niño Zeus Aldueza – BaSi (Manager): Former head coach for Neon Esports, Winter Bear, and Manta Esports, BaSi steps in as the team’s manager, providing invaluable guidance and structure.
