UAAP to proceed with new eligibility rules for transferring
The UAAP will proceed with its plan and establish new rules on eligibility for student-athletes who transfer from one UAAP school to another, league sources confirmed to ALL-STAR Magazine during the league’s Season 87 press conference on Wednesday, September 4.
All student athletes who transfer from one UAAP school to another following the closing ceremonies of UAAP Season 86 will still only have to sit out for one year, however, two years will now be deducted from their overall years of eligibility. Under the old rules, only one year was taken away.
