NAVI PH Eliminates Falcon Daisies to Stay Alive in MWI 2026

NAVI PH lives to see another day after eliminating Myanmar’s Falcon Daisies with a 2-1 reverse sweep on Day 2 of 2026 MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) at the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Paris, France. 

The Filipina representatives advanced to the Group B Lower Bracket Semifinals, moving one win away from securing a spot in the MWI Knockout Stage, where they hope to write their redemption story after a 5th-8th place finish last year.

Running into hurdles

In Game 1, NAVI PH took a bold step by debuting Chip and Masha in MWI 2026, but the risky draft backfired as Falcon Daisies gained control of the early game, highlighted by Ayra’s Esmeralda securing a double kill during the 5-minute turtle clash.

NAVI PH attempted to turn the tide during the 6:45 mark mid-lane clash, with Mery “Meraaay” Vivero’s Chip initiating a Shortcut ambush that resulted in a 2-for-0 trade in their favor. However, the play was not enough to close the gold gap.

Despite NAVI’s valiant stand, the Filipina representatives were wiped out during the 15-minute clash at the bottom lane, with Anisa “Starsoyy” Putri on Suyou leading Falcon Daisies with a double kill. 

All or nothing

NAVI PH came out stronger in Game 2, setting the pace with early aggression as they secured the first turtle objective and picked up first blood through Gwyneth “Not Ayanami” Diagon’s Benedetta against Jayy’s Atlas.

Falcon Daisies retaliated after Kaye “Keishi” Alpuerto secured all three turtle objectives, answering back with a 2-for-1 trade during the 7-minute turtle clash as Mi San “Kiko” Ko on Claude picked up a double kill.

NAVI PH maintained its gold lead, but Falcon Daisies trimmed the deficit by securing a crucial 2-for-3 trade during the 14-minute lord contest before stealing the 18-minute Lord.

Neither team was willing to back down in a grueling Game 2, but the turning point came when NAVI PH secured the 26-minute lord uncontested, allowing Lhoureain “Rianne” Alcaraz’s Harith to lead the final base siege with a game-winning double kill.

Rianne powered NAVI PH’s comeback effort with a stellar 9-1-10 KDA, helping the team even the series at 1-1 and force a decisive Game 3.

This is as intense as it gets

NAVI PH continued its strong showing in Game 3, taking control of all three turtle objectives to gain an early advantage over Falcon Daisies.

The fierce battle between NAVI PH and Falcon Daisies reached its climax when Meraay’s Atlas found the perfect opening, executing a three-man Fatal Links catch during the crucial 21-minute Lord fight.

Not Ayanami on Cici led NAVI’s charge to pull off a reverse sweep with a flawless 4-0-10 KDA. 

NAVI PH now moves one step closer to the Knockout Stage after advancing to the MWI Lower Bracket Semifinals, where the Filipina representatives will face Gen.G Esports.
