Former Adamson Soaring Falcons superstar Jerom Lastimosa has signed a three-year contract with Magnolia in the Philippine Basketball Association, he confirmed to ALL-STAR Magazine on Friday, July 26.
Lastimosa was taken ninth overall by Magnolia in the 2024 PBA Draft. His PBA debut will be postponed as he continues to recover from a knee operation he had earlier this year, but he’s on track for a full recovery and could begin playing by October.
“Beyond blessed,” was the feeling Lastimosa had after signing his contract. As far as his recovery, he said: “Solid naman yung knee ko and nag pro-progress naman ng maayos.”
Lastimosa will join a Magnolia team expected to compete for PBA championships this season, especially after their recent acquisition of Zavier Lucero from Northport.
