Nathan Victoria: Quiet Fire, Lasting Legacy
Some players carry their story with swagger. Nathan Victoria carries his with heart.
The third-year point guard for the College of Saint Benilde Blazers grew up surrounded by basketball, but never pressured by it. As the son of the late PBA standout Boybits Victoria, Nathan learned early that the love for the game doesn’t come from expectation, but from joy.
“He didn’t really force me,” Nathan says. “He showed me how much I can enjoy playing.”
Now carving his own path while redshirting in CSB’s green and white, Nathan plays with a calm, deliberate energy. He’s a steady hand at the point and a grounded soul off the court.
Whether he’s stopping by a chapel before a game to clear his head or showing up in his signature chill game-day outfit (shirt, shorts, and Crocs), there’s a sense of ease about him. That quiet confidence — part discipline, part humility — makes him one of the most intriguing young guards to watch in the NCAA, and maybe, one of the most effortlessly “crush-worthy” ones too.
