What Went Down in the MFL Multisport 2024

The Manila Flag Football League hosted a football tripleheader on April 27 at Club United through their first-ever MFL Multisport 2024.

The 12-hour tournament was nothing short of a resounding success where 300 athletes celebrated their version of football – Football (soccer), Rugby Football, and Flag Football.

“Unity and support” as MFL’s Chief Operating Officer, Zara Carbonell-Near had shared were the founding values of MFL, and their Multisport Tournament was a testament to that.

Three (3) communities united on one football field, with overflowing support from MFL. Every athlete received an MFL Kit upon entry that contained MFL athlete shirts, towels, a drawstring bag for cleats, and more prizes from their brand partners.

And yes, MFL lives up to its reputation for turning 12-hour intense sporting events into a party! With Jade’s Temple on the field, athletes were treated to an unlimited supply of craft beer, great music, and a superb tournament set-up.

Athletes traveled all the way to Manila from as far as the United States, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore to be a part of the much-anticipated tournament.
