Actual Crystals? Nike’s Swarovski Collab Releases in the Philippines
Nike delivers the succeeding chapter of Ja Morant’s NBA All-Star releases, converging with Austrian manufacturer Swarovski on the Memphis guard’s premier silhouette. Despite coming up short at San Francisco weekend, the two-time All-Star received two colorways of the Nike Ja 2 “Black Label.” both adorned with crystals.
The Nike Ja 2 “Swarovski Scratch Black Label” and LX “Swarovski Black Label” depict Morant’s bold, aggressive, yet meticulous style of play. Whether facilitating on the offensive end or finding the most effective way to the basket, the pairs boast a flashy persona seen through its elements.
According to Hypebeast, the lower-tier “Swarovski Scratch Black Label” colorway features “crystals at just the lateral’s “scratch” marks, the medial’s Swoosh, and the tongue branding.”
On the other hand, the $550 LX version glistens with Swarovski rhinestones, known for their high quality and sparkle. While they aren’t the brand’s premier cut, a note included with the pair mentions their fragility and that they are not intended for “active play or vigorous activity.” Regardless, they’re still an official Swarovski x Ja Morant x Nike collaboration, emphasizing their hefty price tag.
From a star-studded weekend of sneakers, Nike placed its best-of-the-best on a pedestal showcased through the 2025 “Black Label” collection. Highlighted by the brand’s signature athletes (and two additional silhouettes), the nine-piece pack exudes greatness and exclusivity with its sleek all-black design, special packaging, and limited-edition elements.
