Sneaker Free Agent Clint Escamis: Where is He Headed Next?
Despite claiming the NCAA crown, Clint Escamis heads onto unfamiliar territory the following season. With veteran Cardinals (and assistant coach) departing from the program and forgoing the opportunity to turn professional, the Season 100’s Finals Most Valuable Player manages somewhat of a “fresh start”—along with a hopeful sneaker deal?
During an episode of The Navs Effect Podcast, Escamis sat with the ALL-STAR Magazine Senior Editor, recollecting his collegiate journey, life outside the hardwood, and hoop-filled aspirations. In the early portion of the interview, Ganglani dabbled in the Red Warrior-turned-Cardinal’s sneaker commitment status, in which Escamis confirmed his free agent position.

“I’ll take any offer [and] I’m now open to negotiations,” he mentions.
Leading the Mapúa Cardinals to their sixth championship and a 15-3 regular season record, Escamis also claimed the league’s Mythical Five honors in Nike’s premier silhouettes.
He scorched the runner-up Benilde Blazers (CSB) in the finale, dropping a combined 48 points in the Nike KD 4 “Weatherman (2024),” He also converted the iconic last-second heave from beyond the arc in the Nike Kobe 8 Protro “Court Purple” and debuted the Nike Kobe 6 Protro“Mambacita Sweet 16” during media day.
Will Clint Escamis officially join the Swoosh? Only time will tell, but it appears as a front-runner in his extensive list of suitors.
