Elijah Yusi Commits to Letran Knights, Set for NCAA Run

Elijah Ray Yusi, an exciting young prospect in Philippine basketball, has officially committed to the Letran Knights, adding serious firepower to the storied NCAA program. The 19-year-old sharpshooter, known for his clutch performances and scoring ability, will be eligible for five full seasons beginning NCAA Season 101.

The commitment marks a major win for Letran, who beat out several top programs – including UAAP powerhouse Ateneo – for Yusi’s services.

Standing at 6’2”, he plays both the guard positions with confidence. His breakout performances in the Pilipinas Super League and the NCAA Juniors division caught national attention. With the Arellano Braves in NCAA Season 100, Yusi was a bright spot, helping his team grab a key win with a 15-point outing that included crucial late-game plays.

His resume also includes a standout 25-point game for Pampanga-Pradera in the PSL U18, where he drilled five threes in a statement win over Cagayan de Oro. Representing Central Luzon in the 2023 Palarong Pambansa, Yusi demonstrated leadership and poise.

By joining Letran, Yusi steps into a program with championship pedigree. The Knights, recent NCAA titlists, are known for grooming players with grit and high basketball IQ. With five seasons of eligibility, Yusi has the rare opportunity to shape not just games, but the identity of a team in transition.

His skillset – marked by a smooth shooting stroke, strong off-ball movement, and an ability to deliver in high-pressure moments – fits perfectly into Letran’s system. The coaching staff is eager to develop Yusi into a contributor to the Knights’ offense.

With his commitment locked in, Elijah Yusi’s next chapter begins.
