NAVI PH Falls to Team Vitality in MWI 2026 Grand Finals

NAVI PH fell short against defending champion Team Vitality of Indonesia, suffering a 2-4 defeat in the Grand Finals of the 2026 MLBB Women’s International (MWI) at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris, France.

It was still a valiant effort from the Filipina representatives, who finished as first runners-up and will take home a $90,000 prize.

Stepping on the gas

Gwyneth “Not Ayanami” Diagon on Freya wasted no time making an impact, finding an early triple kill in the first turtle fight that helped NAVI PH build a 3-0 kill lead and a 1,900 gold advantage in just 2 minutes.

NAVI PH remained deathless with a 6-0 lead until the 8-minute mark, when a clash in the bottom lane saw Mery “Meraaay” Vivero’s Gloo and Lhoureain “Rianne” Alcaraz’s Claude get picked off.

During the 17-minute base siege, NAVI capitalized on Team Vitality’s 3v4 disadvantage to claim the opening win of the final series, with Not Ayanami leading the charge through a flawless 8-0-1 KDA performance.

Minor setbacks

Game 2 saw both teams go neck-and-neck early, but Team Vitality managed to build a gold advantage and map control after securing all three turtle objectives to put pressure on NAVI.

NAVI held the line against Team Vitality’s relentless 16-minute base siege, as Rianne’s Harith powered their hopes of completing a stunning comeback.

However, NAVI paid the price for contesting the Lord at the 18-minute mark, with four Team Vitality members finding an opening to break the base crystal and tie the series at 1-1.

Team Vitality dominated the early game again in Game 3, claiming the first turtle while Chel’s Karrie scored a solo kill on Rianne’s Claude during a 2-minute top lane clash.

Rianne’s clutch lord steal at the 9-minute mark gave NAVI PH a much-needed lifeline, but it wasn’t enough to significantly cut down Vitality’s gold lead.

NAVI battled hard to force Game 3 into a grueling 28-minute affair, but Vival’s Balmond turned the tide with a crucial Lord steal that fueled Team Vitality’s final push and secured a 2-1 point.

A spirit that refuses to surrender

Team Vitality sustained its momentum in Game 4, securing two of the three turtle objectives against NAVI PH while continuously pressuring Rianne’s Moskov in the gold lane.

But NAVI refused to back down, as Kaye “Keishi” Alpuerto’s Balmond secured a triple kill during the 14-minute Lord fight after a Flicker–Throne of Ruin setup from Not Ayanami’s Alice.

NAVI forced a 2-2 deadlock in the final series after successfully executing a 19-minute base siege against Vitality, with Not Ayanami leading the teamfight initiation and Honey “Rain” Jemlan’s Lylia sealing the victory with a flawless 4-0-10 KDA.

The journey ends here

Team Vitality turned the tables once again in Game 5, constantly reassuring NAVI PH and building a lopsided 13-2 kill score on top of a massive 10,000 gold lead past the 10-minute mark.

The Indonesian representatives secured 3-2 match point after overpowering NAVI PH in just 11 minutes, with Vival’s Ling powering Vitality’s dominant performance through an impressive 3-1-6 KDA.

Team Vitality showed no signs of slowing down in the decider Game 6, as Vival delivered another explosive performance on Ling, securing a game-winning Maniac during the 13-minute bottom lane inhibitor push against NAVI.

Beyond lifting the championship trophy, Vival also earned the MWI 2026 Finals MVP award, becoming an FMVP once again after four years.
