Team Falcons PH Misses MSC 2026 Podium After Falling to ONIC Indonesia

Team Falcons PH missed out on a podium finish after falling to ONIC Indonesia in a 0-3 sweep in the battle for third place at the 2026 MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC) in Paris, France

The Filipino squad carried the Philippines’ last hope of winning the MSC title before falling short in a nail-biting semifinal clash against Myanmar’s Yangon Galacticos, 2-3, sending them into this third-place battle against regional rivals ONIC ID.

In Game 1, ONIC ID stayed deathless with a 8-0 kill score until the 8-minute clash at the top lane where Sanz’s Valentina was picked off by Flap’s Esmeralda while still holding on to a massive 4,000 gold lead. 

Team Falcons PH failed to recover until the end, as Kelra’s Granger erupted for a double kill during the final siege to close out Game 1 in just 11 minutes with a 20-1 lopsided kill score for ONIC ID. 

Game 2 delivered a similar result as ONIC ID once again dominated Team Falcons, closing out the match in just 10 minutes with an 11-2 kill score and a commanding 10,000 gold lead.

Riding the momentum from the previous game, ONIC ID exploded in Game 3 against Team Falcons, with Kairi’s Hirara securing a crucial triple kill at the 10-minute lord fight.

Team Falcons PH remained patient and resilient, stretching Game 3 in hopes of mounting a comeback, but ONIC ID delivered the final blow by capitalizing on a 3v5 advantage during the 18-minute siege.

ONIC ID secures $250,000 as the tournament’s third-place finisher, while Team Falcons PH earns $150,000 after finishing fourth.
