TNT Tropang Giga Wins PBA Governors’ Cup Season 49

The TNT Tropang Giga has been crowned the Champions of the PBA Governors’ Cup Season 49. They won 95-85, denying Game 7 for the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Gin Kings.

Top-scorer Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the team to victory with 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 8 assists. Together with Jayson “The Blur” Castro, who registered 13 points, 6 assists, and 2 rebounds, and Roger Ray Pogoy, who ended with 13 points, 2 rebounds, and an assist, TNT snatched the win. Jayson Castro took home another award, being named the Finals MVP.

Ginebra gave a tough game against TNT. RJ Abarrientos led his team with 31 points, while his teammate Justin Brownlee contributed 16 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds. Despite the loss, the performance from Ginebra made Game 6 enjoyable.
