UP Maroons To Field Two Squads in Pinoyliga Collegiate Cup

The UP Maroons are going all in for Season 4 of the Pinoyliga Collegiate Cup, fielding two separate teams in the tournament – a clear statement about the depth of their roster and their long-term development strategy. With 24 student-athletes in their talent pool, the Fighting Maroons will give more players the opportunity to gain high-level experience and prove themselves ahead of future major competitions.

The roster includes a strong mix of veterans and emerging talent: Mainstays like Rey Remogat, Reyland Torres, Gerry Abadiano, Chicco Briones, Mark Belmonte, Gani Stevens, Terrence Fortea, Harold Alarcon, Jacob Bayla, Francis Yniguez, and Francis Lopez are some of those expected to be in action. With this kind of roster depth, UP is maximizing the league not just for competition but for evaluation, exposure, and development.

UP’s first game is scheduled for 2PM on April 26 against CSB, followed by National University vs. Guang Ming.
