Daiki Responds to Lumi Allegations, Denies Intent to Cause Harm

Former Team Liquid PH analyst Daiki has broken his silence on the serious allegations raised against him by MLBB streamer Lumi, denying any intention to cause harm and calling on the public to refrain from making premature judgments.

The controversy follows Lumi’s public account of alleged harassment, in which she described incidents that made her feel unsafe, including an allegation that someone threw objects at her window.

The claims have drawn attention from the MLBB community, prompting discussions about the allegations and the need for a fair process.

Daiki: ‘No One Deserves to Feel Unsafe

In a lengthy public statement, Daiki said he was aware of the allegations and expressed his willingness to address the matter through the appropriate channels.

“I have absolutely no intention of causing harm or doing anything malicious to anyone, much less to those claiming I want to cause harm to them,” Daiki said.

The former TLPH analyst also pushed back against the narratives circulating online, describing them as “false assumptions” and expressing concern that they could influence public perception of his character.

Daiki acknowledged the seriousness of the situation, saying that “no one deserves to feel unsafe,” while urging the public to remain fair and open-minded as the matter develops.

He also said he did not wish to escalate the issue through social media exchanges or public arguments, maintaining that it should instead be handled through the proper legal process.

Beyond addressing the allegations, Daiki appealed to the public to refrain from involving his family, friends, and Team Liquid PH in the controversy.

“Please leave my family, friends, and Team Liquid PH, out of this personal matter,” he said, adding that their names and reputations should remain separate from the issue.

Mitch Liwanag Clarifies Daiki’s Farewell Visit

Meanwhile, Team Liquid PH country manager Mitch Liwanag had also addressed the controversy on Tuesday, following reactions to Daiki’s appearance at a team member’s birthday celebration.

In a statement posted on her Instagram channel, Liwanag said Daiki had personally asked for permission to attend the gathering to apologize to the team and say goodbye.

She explained that she allowed him to attend because she understood it would be his final time seeing the team as a member.

“Let me make this absolutely clear: I NEVER TOLERATED HIS ACTIONS,” Liwanag said, emphasizing that allowing him to attend the gathering did not signify approval of his alleged actions.

Liwanag said the organization had advised both parties to go their separate ways from the first day Daiki sought their advice, adding that they had continued reaching out to both sides.

She also said she ultimately made the decision to let him go.

“Allowing Daiki to attend one final gathering to apologize and say goodbye was an act of closure, not forgiveness on behalf of others, not an endorsement, and certainly not an indication of tolerance,” she wrote.

Liwanag urged the public not to misrepresent the circumstances surrounding the gathering or interpret the photograph as contradicting the organization’s position.

Daiki also urged the public in his statement to avoid spreading unverified information, engaging in harassment, or participating in what he described as “character assassination.”

“Rather than immediately choosing sides, I hope we can exercise restraint, respect one another, and allow the appropriate legal authorities, if need be, to perform their duty,” he said.

Daiki also expressed his willingness to cooperate with lawful proceedings, if required, to establish the truth.

He concluded by emphasizing the importance of fairness and giving everyone involved an opportunity to be heard.

This is a developing story.
